Yangon – Bago - Myaing Hay Wun – Yangon
Day 1 Yangon Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Leisure at the hotel. After the brief fresh up, Yangon preliminary sightseeing is started with the 72 meter long colossal reclining Buddha, the biggest one in Yangon, then Visit around the city center and excavate the whiff of colonial era by seeing the Building around 18th centaury in the heart of city and paid visit to the Octagonal shape, Sule Pagoda built in 2500 years ago and The collections of Myanmar gems, traditional handicrafts and other varieties of souvenir center; visitors and local alike, the Bogyoke Market, Then visit to the collection house of History, National Museum, 40 meters high Botataung Pagoda near Yangon River. In the evening, experience the peculiar view of the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda. Stroll the China Town and Overnight at Yangon. Day 2 Yangon - Bago After breakfast leave only one and half hour drive out of Yangon to Bago, once Second Myanmar Dynasty; first to settle in 573 AD and become the center of the Mon Kingdom. On arrival in Bago, pay visit to 124 meter high Shwe Mawdaw Pagoda, Bago's golden landmark; 65 meter long Shwe Tha Lyaung reclining Buddha built in 994 AD ,the most beautiful Reclining Buddha, Local Market and observe the ways of life at rural area. Take a look at woodcarving, and then see Kalyani Sima Ordination. Visit also Mahazedi Pagoda with its impressive bell-shaped stupa and Hinthagone Pagoda where you can have a chance to observe the Nat (Spirits) Dance; Unusual and impressive Kyaik Pun Pagoda built in 1476 A.D Being extensively excavated Kanbawza Thadi, the famous palace of King Bayinnaung, the founder of the Second Myanmar Empire. Overnight at Bago. Day 3 Bago – Myaing Hay Wun Early Morning, drive to Taik Kyi District and then proceed to Myanig Hay Wun Elephant Camp about 1hour by coach. Upon Arrival, study the daily routine of Elephants, their lovely nature, mutual relationship with their trainer (mahout). Take pleasure on feeding them banana, tamarind and sugar cane and ride around the forest camp seeing the beauty and its atmosphere. The visitors can visit Pyinkadoe plantation, learn wild elephants capturing techniques practically and how they are trained and fishing as recreation activities. Overnight at Camp. Day 4 Yangon Departure Return to Yangon and take leisure at the hotel or shopping. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure. |
