Naypyitaw, or Abode of Kings, Literally meaning Royal capital was founded as a Myanmar's new capital. The new capital was declared Myanmar new capital on January 1, 2006. It is also known as administrative capital. Naypyitaw has new apartments with reliable utilities. The region around Naypyitaw enjoys a cool climate. All the domestic flights fly to Naypyitaw daily. Train and Naypyitaw express buses leave from Yangon and Mandalay everyday. Naypyitaw Airport Airport on Naypyitaw operated since early 2006 and is about 30 minutes from the administrative capital. All domestic carriers fly from Naypyitaw to the commercial city, Yangon, and the cultural capital, Mandalay, as well as to others destinations, such as Sittwe and Heho. |
